Is the GC getting popular or something? o_O

I don't know what's up, but I have been selling GameCubes like crazy at Wal-Mart recently.

Normally we could get in eight of them and sit on them for like two months and be lucky if two of them sold in that time.

But just in the past two days we've sold about six! And the weird thing is that in most cases they didn't even buy games...just the system.

Also, we have this bin full of games that are under $20 and someone actually stole a Gamecube game (Super Monkey Ball). It may not seem like a big deal, but like...the Gamecube has never been cool enough for people to steal any of its games.

Has anyone else noticed stuff like this?

Well I have always had a ps2 but lately I have been wanting to play Gamecube games. I just like the nintendo type graphics. Games like Mario and Zelda are just so much fun.

Well, now that's it's getting late in the game I think everyone is like, "Meh, why the hell not. I need to try out that new Zelda anyways."
Only thing Nintendo's got is thier first party games...

i've always liked it for many titles. i don't think it's better than my ps2, but i think it's largely better than icksbox.
i got it in dec when it had the double dash bundle. i've already got 9 games in less than 2 months for it.
though i still may wait for ps2 RE 4 :p

I think it is because of Resident evil 4. The game is awesome and I only played it a bit when FF7 master brought it to the placei'm staying at. I asked my boomer to get it for my birthday.

Archangel-M glossary:
boomer- mom

I named mothers that because when mothers yell it sounds like booms to the ear. Tus the nicknamew boomer was born, but dare i ever say it to her face... :o

I thought maybe it was because your mom was part of the baby boom or something, but I guess I was way off. Do you know of any other person who calls their mom "boomer", or is this strictly something you do?
