Retro Hero said::lol This what I'm talking about, I get different opinions on this game wherever I go. People either love it or hate it.
I'm still going to give it a try though, just need to find a decently priced copy.
Retro, here's the thing. I think it would be safe to say that the majority of people who hate this game never invest any time on it. They get frustrated because they simply cannot master the battle additions, or they cannot understand what is going on. The people who love the game tend to play it until they get the battle system down (which is like FFX' overdrives in theory, but execution is slightly different), and explore every nook and cranny for everything they can find.
Like I said before, I am on my second trip through. I have just begun the fourth disk, and am at about 35+ hours on it. This time, however, I have played it with a very reliable walkthrough.
@ Sartori, laugh if you will. I chuckle at a lot of things deemed "cult classics." And that's what makes them cult classics. Because they develop a following and a popularity that the people who hate them cannot understand.
