Man, I want a 360 now.

Now now, I don't have any of the next gen systems, save for my PC, but looking at my recent EGM mag showed some shots of Prototype for the 360 and PS3.

I want Prototype. I was a huge fan of Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, and this essentially looks to be a bigger and badder version of it. Sadly, I'll probably be just moving out of my house when it comes out (time to move away to college!), but alas, it looks insane.

Unless that game is Ninja Gaiden 2 8) I have not heard of this "Prototype" game, though. What is it all about?
Hmm...picture a M rated sandbox style Kirby.

360's aren't worth one game.

There's plenty of other 360 games I'd like as well. The thing is, some of them usually come out for the PC, so I don't look into much.

Back when I got a Gamecube, the only games I cared about at the time were Metroid Prime and Super Smash Brothers Melee. My library with the GC is roughly 20 something games now.

Yeah, I know what you're saying. I have also put off getting a 360 because I have a good pc which plays most of the 360 games I want better than a 360 anyway. But, now with RE5, GTA4, NG2, etc, it seems more "must have".

ALAN WAKE FTW!!!

Agreed. I have been eyeing this game for what feels like 2-3 years. I just about forgot about the game, lol. Yeah, though, can't wait for this one, and I won't be able to get it on PC {screw vista} so that's another reason for 360 :D

XBLA alone is nearly worth the purchase.

If you enjoy good online multiplayer, then 360 is where it's at as well.

I'm not saying the 360 is better/worse than the other systems, but right now it's got an impressive library of games and the extra functions and uses of the 360 are definitely more than simple bells and whistles. Just be aware, if you want to get one, bigger in this case does = better, at least in terms of hard drive.

I haven't even filled a quarter of my 360's 20GB hard drive (12GB usable), I fail to understand the point in a 120GB drive.

I did take up a bunch of space on my PS3 though, as installing random stuff is always fun.

It's more for people who don't stream off their computer and store video and music on the 360 HD. Plus, if you buy a lot of downloadable content (Like I did for Rock Band and COD4) it adds up pretty quick.

Especially considering 12 gigs of that 20 gig is reserved for system updates and such. My roommate bought a 20 gig thinking it would be plenty, he only owns about 5 or 6 games for it, and he's only got one or two gigs left...

In contrast....I own 13 Xbox 360 games....and I have over 10GB left...including both Oblivion expansions, the first Halo 3 map pack, and the two Gears of War map packs...

Think your friend might have made that up.

Did he say what games his friend has? He could have Rock Band and Guitar Hero II and III plus how much downloaded songs/content. Plus people download demos and don't take them off. Oh did I mention the Xbox Originals 1-2 can fit MAYBE 3. Just because you have more games and he has less doesn't mean that the downloadable content is the same for all.

Ok calm down there, buddy. I have both Guitar Hero III and Rock Band (Guitar Hero III > Rock Band :D) with a number of downloaded songs, and I still have over 10GB.
