VG sales show that MGS4 sold 1.3 million copies within the first 24 hours. :D

-The 70,000 Metal Gear Solid 4 bundles supplied by Sony sold out immediately most retailers. It is expected that the hardware boost will be short-lived and PS3 sales will return to normal levels within the next couple of weeks.

-Many retailers have accused Sony of severely underestimating demand and suggest that they could have sold 2-3 times as many if the supply had been available.

I think this game is popular enough to do a million copies. Just check out how many reviews are out there - IGN, bushleague.tv (really good, too) They'll make an Xbox version.

It could still happen. As Homi said once before, the more the merrier. This is a game that needs to be experienced by everyone.

He got the sales he wanted, but I guess not everything in the game that he wanted. Still a superb game..and my new favorite game of all time.

I'm pretty sure MGS4 won't even run on a 360. Its just too big. And to think Kojima wanted more out of MGS4 is mindblowing. I don't know what else he could have included. Now that I have beat MGS4 three times over, and have logged over 30 hours of online play, I'm happy I bought a ps3. (Even though I bought it when they made the 60gb for 500)

Okay bumping this old thread, because it could be likely that MGS4 could be ported to 360 after all. They claim it has the power and Konami is seriously considering it.

Knowing the industry, they probably just did that stupid "we do not comment on rumors" stuff. That's what everyone seems to do when one of these rumors comes up.
