Not much longer....

At Wal-Mart we got in 60 for the launch. We sold 28 on launch day and averaged about 6 sales on Friday and 8 sales on Saturday. When I went home on Saturday at 7 pm, we still had 14 left. I really thought they would be gone already. My theory is that the hardcore people already had PSPs pre-ordered elsewhere, and the casual shoppers who come to Wal-Mart aren't willing to shell out $250.
 
I noticed that my Wal-Mart had what looked like a couple dozen (give or take). I didn't even realize it came out yet...'course I was busy getting married :p

I think it´s a great system. Too expensive, I know, but it´s a fantastic world, like (and near) a Ps2 in your hands.

I prefer this Psp system than NDS, but I´m going acquire both systems because I like handhelds very much. In Europe, we need to wait till September >:( It´s terrible, I can´t wait :'(
 
PSP and DS have their own strengths and weaknesses. The PSP has better graphics and more console style games and you can do more stuff with it (MP3's and movies, etc) Its weakness is that it's expensive, has lower battery life and most of its games are ports of regular PS2 games (GTA, sports, etc) DS has more innovative games (Trauma Center, Phoenix Wright) That you will only find on DS, but it doesn't do quite as much graphically, and some people believe that the second screen is too gimmicky (Actually most of the DS's weaknesses are based around consumer perception) Both are good systems, it more or less depends on what sorts of games you want to play.
 
well i wish it would go down in price, then I would actually get one. I think I would rather it have a longer battery life then lower price, but whatever.
