Less repetition, and a story that's not crap.
And change around the multiplayer to make it more enjoyable, you know, more people in a match, and a litle faster respawn times.

That sounds more like Call of Duty than Halo. The Halo series rarely has more than 10 or so enemies at once, whereas Call of Duty can have epic amounts of men on each side.
