Call me crazy, but this doesn't sound exciting.

Oh, and what's wrong with Game Informer? They are just as opinionated as any other game magazine. I see no difference...

Game Informer tends to be more biased than any game reviewer needs to be.

on an off note has anybody noticed how all the good gamer crap has been going to the dogs lately?
I mean the next gen consoles are all too expensive with the exception of the Wii which is actually made for "Casual gamers"
E3 and G4 are both dead well, ones dead, the others just kind of a joke now...

Well, the downside to a magazine that does reviews is there will always be an element of bias. Because human nature dictates that. Human nature also dictates that we must be diverse. I may love a game that many see as horrible, or strongly dislike a game that is amazingly popular. Game magazines should be viewed the same way. A reviewer gives his opinions, and we read them and choose whether to agree or disagree. And personally I love reading Game Informer.

Now, back on topic:

The reason why I don't see this game as exciting is for one, I am not partial to PC gaming (No hate, but no love either), and I got burned out with the Sim franchise back in the Sim City 3000 days. I hope this game is successful. I just won't be the one buying it.

I remember hearing about this game a long time ago, but forgot what it was about. Wasn't it like an FPS or something at first :?

Anyway, it looks awesome. Can't wait.

They said they have finished putting all the content in like parts and all that in they are just spending the next few months polishing it and seeing what fans say.

Ok in a interview with Will Write he was asked when we could get a copy and the interviewer asked around Christmas and Will Write said yes soooo im guessing mabey a end of 07 release THAT WOULD BE AWESOME.

meh...I don't really like playing games like Spore on consoles. I'll pick it up on the PC when I get a new one. When I play Spore, I want the best experience possible, and I think I'll get that on PC. :)

Its not 2009 :lol silly people they said it will either come out end of this year or they are thinking of Q1 next year like a April or March release.

You can play the hole game through they are just polishing it and taking in what fans say when they test it out at big game conventions and all that so they can polish the small things so dw its deffintly a end of year or early next year.

Any way that interview i herd wasn't old because it had the up to date graphics on it and all that so it was new.

I've looked it up. I'm getting why I'm confused on this. They say it may slip to beginning of their 2009 fiscal year, which is April/May 2008. And that's the latest releases for the game apparently.

thats a 3 part interview good one as well check it out also if you dont understand Spore properly and or your new to Spore look it up at wikipedia write Spore (video game) believe me it explains everything in good detail.

I was doing a report for my business class on EA and a lot of information I found mentioned Spore and how excited everyone was for it. I wouldn't have heard of it otherwise as I don't subscribe to mags. or look at online forums. I prefer...osmosis for gaming information. ;)

Spore looks super, though.

Spore is actually just a concept as of right now....sadly.

It never got the green light. :'(

Dude, they're going to release the character builder for free online pretty soon, and the game is mostly done. I dunno where you've been.
