Alan Wake...I can't wait for that. I wonder when it is coming out. I will reserve that when it becomes available for pre-order, for sure.

As to Halo 3. If you are the type of person who likes to part money from fools, the Legendary Edition might be worth getting just to sell on eBay. I'm pretty sure they will be reserve only so they might actually fetch a nice price. Most GameStops that I know of already have at least 100 reserves on the Legendary edition so they will probably have to shut off reserves soon so that they can make enough.

This is off topic, but does anybody have any numbers to how many PS3's were sold on launch?

no i meant all the ps3 sales up until now, halo 3 will top it altogether.

what if it sucks?

Now i said that because bungie has had huge hits with the last 2 halo games now to pull off three is ridiculous. BC they are adding so much crap thats no neccessary. Who needs dual weiled swords? it's hard enough to kill a person with one. Also the sheilds.... who needs sheilds?

im not 100% doubting halo...just idk i have a hunch

Official Price of Halo 3 Legendary Edition

So today I got a phone call from Gamestop telling me Microsoft finally set a price for the Legendary Edition of Halo 3.


$129.99


Man, you gotta be kidding me. I thought $100 was a lot. Oh well, I guess I'll go up there and put another $5 on it so it comes out to an even $100. Does anybody know if they added anything else to the Legendary Edition other than the helmet? I know there's been rumors that they're putting a copy of Halo 1 and 2 that have been redone for the 360 in it, but I'm almost 100% those rumors are false. Well, what are you're ideas??

Anyone who actually buys Halo 3 Legendary was pretty stupid, buying it for $100, but $120 for a Master Chief helmet and a bunch of stuff about making the game that I don't give two sh#%s about? That's just ridiculous. Microsoft is just being greedy, but I have no doubt that all the Halo fanboys will buy it anyways. ::)

$130 by the way. And yes the fanboys will buy it, because that's who the Legendary edition is meant for. Why would you watch behind the scenes stuff if you weren't? It also has new hi-res cut-scenes from halo 1 and 2. It's also coming with content from Red vs Blue, This Spartan Life, and gamer tiles and a special theme. This is definitely made for Halo fanboys, and I'm one of them. 8)
