Ok I finished downloading the maps and got some play time with all of them.
First, Lock Out. I mean, Blackout. It's awesome. We are going to have some awesome Rocket matches on this map, just like in the Halo 2 days. ^_^
Second, Avalanche. I had fun with the Spartan Laser on this map. I hit my friend twice: once when he was in a hornet, and once when he was on foot. There's a ton of lifts on this map; I bet I could go places the designers didn't intend in a game of Pinball. I will try to experiment on that tomorrow.
Ghost Town is a very busy map, I suppose you could say. Even though it's not as big as something like Avalanche, the density of buildings makes it harder to find people in a 1v1 match. But, it's pretty good for hiding, and you can get around in a Mongoose decently. I think it would be a neat map for Oddball and CTF, and perhaps Territories.
I didn't see any of you guys, though.
But, I'll be playing again tomorrow, so maybe we could schedule something? ^_^
