Lol. You think a company fails because they want to perfect their biggest game?Strubes said:Nintendo = Fail
Oh well, it's what you'd expect I guess.

Still ain't seeing it. Is it because they've got the best selling console or because they want to refine Smash Bros. so it can live up to expectations?Hinesmdc said:i agree with strubes, nintendo needs to get their act together
Of course it's annoying, but if I'm spending $50 on it, I want it to be the best game Sakurai can make it.kirbyrockz said:It's still annoying though. Second delay... I had already made plans... darnit.

kirbyrockz said:My point is that it's not wrong to be disappointed. We were all expecting the game to be 100% completed by release date, and now we have to wait longer again. I'm not arguing that a delay wasn't necessary; hey, if it must be done, then it must be done. But I am still disappointed.
They just put out a target date, and when they saw they couldn't do all of what they wanted to, they delayed it. Face it, it could have been out in December, but they would have had to cut most of the extra stuff they put in. CDs? Out. Minigame for trophies? Out. Several characters? Out. Some stages? Out. Challenge Screen? Out. Stickers? Out.kirbyrockz said:My point is that it's not wrong to be disappointed. Because Sonic was enough of a push and Sakurai's quite adamant about not many third party characters. And Tails is an AT.LIVEandLETdie said:It stinks that Brawl got delayed, but there's still hope for Knuckles!! Come on sonics in there, why not Tails or Knuckles?
WRONG. The Yellow Alloy is based off the unannounced Animal Crossing character, note the viking horns.
And they did replace Ness. Sakurai wanted no clones this time, and Lucas is quite similar to Ness in terms of moves.
And David Hayter said his favorite character to beat up in Smash was Jigglypuff, he said absolutely nothing about her being in Brawl.
Yup, seen it. But why pull it from that instead of a character with a chance to get in? Alloys/Wire Frames are just literal character frames so they don't have to waste a ton of time programming them.Nova said:Please tell me that was you trying to make a joke. Yellow Alloy looks absolutly nothing like the main character from Animal Corssing. Yellow Alloy is taller, thinner, and the horns come from the sides of his head, not the top. Ever played Meteos? Yellow Alloy looks a lot more like this:

How about Sakurai saying Ness has been in up until now on Lucas' page? They're both from the Mother series. So they obviously share PK attacks. You have no more proof as to why Ness can't be in then I do as to why he can.
Ah, but who joined the Brawl scene first? And Lucas joined the scene afterwards. So who's the clone of who?
Yeah, but I doubt he's much of a Smash expert, so he could just be going off the whole series, hoping that Jigglypuff does make it in, or something else. A couple years ago, Sakurai said Ice Climbers weren't coming back, but they did.Quoted straight from the video:
UltraNeko: Which Smash Brothers BRAWL character would you like to beat up the most?
Hayter: I think it'd be really fun to wail on Pikachu, or JIGGLYPUFF...

And to help out, here comes our good friends Ocarina of Time and Kirby. Kirby's first game had a completely different layout and four thousand preorders. After Miyamoto helped them to switch some things around and delay it, it got up to fifty thousand preorders. Then comes Ocarina of Time. Delayed for two years, best game for eleven years running.
Yeah, we all are, but the delay is far from a bad thing that so many people are making it out to be.kirbyrockz said:Again, I am not angry about the delay. Delays happen... and most of the time they happen because the developer was not ready to launch the game yet. I totally understand that. I'm not denying the fact that delays happen for a reason, and that reason is to add more functionality and quality into the game. I'm just disappointed there was a delay to begin with, and that the game was not ready yet. That's all.

Nova said:Well, the first delay was most likely fue to Nintendo not wanting SSBB to contend with Super Mario Galaxy.
This second delay is interesting as to how much it's been delayed. Only a week in Japan (or was it 4 days?), yet 23 days here in the US, and god knows how long for those poor souls in Europe. As someone once said: "They probably spilt coffee all over the English manuals".
Strubes said:You guys thought I was serious about Nintendo failing? Like, as a whole company? :lol Seriously, they failed me. Did I really need to point that out? I thought you'd all figure that out on your own.
Mai Valentine said:Well, it makes sense now that you explain it that way.![]()
