emmm don't count me out of that... and we didn't overhyped ourselves because of the reason i stated above

Oh no, there are far worse culprits there. Madden comes to mind.Hinesmdc said:It has the least amount of sequel innovation I have ever seen in a series....even Tony Hawk.

I agree how ever that the core gameplay is the same. They changed the physics engine, slowed it down, got rid of glitches, added final smashes, and made a few other changes, but, at its core, it's still the same two button combat system Melee, and the original both had.

Brawl does nothing that melee didn't.
Did I say anything other than the basic combat being the same?fhqwhgads said:Everything beyond the basic combat is different. Trying to say otherwise when you've barely played it isn't the smartest thing you can do. You can whine all you want, "Oh, I think it's the exact same thing and I just hate it!", but honestly, with the amount of time you've given it, your opinion actually does mean nothing on the subject.
I was directing that at Hines, not you. :/Homicidal Cherry53 said:Did I say anything other than the basic combat being the same?

WOW! No one's even done that yet!Hinesmdc said:Um....I have every character, and beat the Subspace Emissary in one sitting (which was horrible, by the way)
The best you can do to say it's Melee 1.5 is list new features...I've played it more than enough to judge it, thank you very much. It's very much Melee 1.5. It has a bare-bones stage builder, just so they could say they could have one. Replays are kinda cool I guess.
Added dual wielding and...nothing else...@Kirby...Halo 2 did infinitely more than Halo 1 did when compared to Melee and Brawl. :lol

One could say the same thing about Melee and Brawl's multiplayer.Hinesmdc said:3. Lol, play Halo 1 multiplayer and tell me it's the same as Halo 2's multiplayer.

Brawl has online. Melee doesn't. That , alone is a huge difference, as big as the difference between Halo's multiplayer and Halo 2's multiplayer.Hinesmdc said:I'm not seeing it. If you are good at Halo 1, that doesn't mean you will be anywhere near good at Halo 2. But in Melee, if you play as Link or someone, you pop in Brawl and.....it's like you're playing Melee again...
This, I completely disagree with. They nerfed several characters, from Melee to Brawl, and strengthened others.Hinesmdc said:Are you kidding me? I mean seriously, is that a joke? They are the same exact thing. The majority of characters weren't modified whatsoever from Melee to Brawl.

Dude...that was my point. The multiplayer aspects of the game changed a ton, in both cases, mostly because they both got online play.Hinesmdc said:Um.....Halo 2 has online. Halo doesn't
