There are some incredible indie games that have been released in the past couple of years that rival AAA titles.
For you Retro, I would highly recommend checking out Steam and peruse the indie titles. There are many games that are throwbacks to the 8-bit era but contain newer mechanics and gameplay. I truly think you'd be impressed.
It is indie games that have made the Ouya popular with me. And it has fast become my console of choice on my big screen TV.
I use Linux, would that be a problem with Steam?
