Walmart gives u a discount card after three months too that u can use at their store. My last job was at Walmart and I liked it. By my brothers last job was at Walmart too, but he did not like it, but he was an overnight worker so perhaps that is why. I liked Walmart ok tho. But I would rather work at a daycare center again I think.

I'm gonna try to get a night shift. Starting off at $8.45 an hour would be nice, and I could work there and at Burger king at the same time.

You're young and your body can handle it. Work as much as you can and spend as little as possible! Make wise investments and save, save, save!

Thrav, x2 has some wise words.

I haven't saved a penny since I started working at 16 and 4 years later I have very little bills and working 40 hours a week at $8.50 I still don't make enough for what I need.

How do you feel about madden 13?

yea i know its kinda late.

Personally i think that madden hasen't been the sames since 04 and 05. (the best maddens in the series) And I dont really see much last year.

Re: How do you feel about madden 13?

I like it. I skipped Madden 12. I went from 11 to 13, and I'm glad I did because I can see bigger differences. The game looks really good, but the replays are still a little sketchy.

Got the job at Walmart last week. Working 2 jobs now, 7 days a week, making $1200 a month.

Would be really nice if I ever had any time to spend it.

Re: Wher to start?

I make video games in my spare time and I am 90% self taught. It takes a lot of work and determination and it also takes an excellent team that has your back. I am a programmer not an artist so I have people to fill in that department for me. Currently I am majoring in computer information science programming but I hope to get to the video game college in LA.

So yeah in short take some computer classes in high school and do some research on your own. Google is your best friend!

Ah, Walmart. Hopefully you're not in one of the departments that has to deal with layaway. :lol

I actually just changed banks, and set up my savings account so that it takes $25 from my checking every month. It's not much but it will add up after a while.
