Can I afford it? Not right now. Will I buy one? Maybe. Do I hate it? No. Strubes, although I respect your opinion, I cannot understand it. Sony knows how to market a game console successfully. And I guess that in my mindset, to say that the PS3 is garbage and a waste of money, is like saying that Sony is run by a bunch of circus clowns. I am willing to bet that the PS3 will indeed take off. And although I don't believe that they will be the top console this time around (I am leaning towards the 360), I believe it will sell well and have a great selection of games.

I highly doubt Sony only cares about what resolution the system plays in. How do you know this? Have you interviewed anyone that works for Sony? You're grasping for straws here.
PS1 had tons of great games, PS2 followed up with tons of great games. You see a pattern here? You can't honestly say that Sony have turned into only caring about technology over games, because in time you know there's going to be a huge libary. You're just moaning for the sake of moaning. I'm not so sure there will be such a huge library of games for PS3. I mean, why would developers want to make games for a system that doesn't sell for squat? It's like people keep saying it will sell better once it gets more games, but how will it get more games if it has no support? Times change, companies make mistakes, Sony has made one..........Oh and BTW, I'm not anti Sony, I'm just being realistic.

You can argue that it took long for the XBOX 360 to get good games, but honestly I beg to differ. DOA4 came out in December and I loved that game. That was only one month after its launch. And then Oblivion came in March, just four months after launch. April had Tomb Raider, which many people probably ignored since it was on last gen consoles, but it was a good game as well.
It just seems like kind of a raw deal to pay for a PS3 and then when people ask you what games are good besides Resistance and Motorstorm, all you can say is that the good ones will be out later this year.

No no no, don't be ridiculous, Strubes! You have to be negative towards any upcoming PS3 game. Unless it's a rehash of a Gamecube game, or yet another FPS for the 360, then it's just not worth the hype!
