PS3...thoughts so far

And let me check....oh yeah that's right. $3 is in reach of about 100% of the people who have a 360 in the first place. $600 isn't really in reach of many...that's why they complain. They aren't FORCED to get one, but if it were cheaper, more people would get it.

But, I think some of the people on here that complain about the price would not buy it if it were $399.99. They know who they are!
 
Exactly. Many of them nag just to have something to nag about. I hate the ps3 price too and if it were $399.99 I would prolly get it in a heartbeat. But until the I will patiently wait for it and by then it will have a sweet lineup too :D

Well there's a simple solution to that. Don't buy the stupid stuff like that. Anything that's actually worth buying is worth paying the price they charge. Uno, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, and Shivering Isles especially are well worth the amount I paid to get them on XBL.
 
They're making developers who want their stuff to be free to add a price tag.
 
im just gonna say wait for killzone.. call of duty modern warfare nothing will compare to this .. just wait.. maybe something at e 3 nex t month
 
Hey, Cheesehead. Where ya been? :)

Idk why, but Killzone doesn't seem like anything special to me. I'm really starting to get excited for a lot of games on the PS3 like Lair, the new Ratchet and Clank, FF 13, but Killzone just isn't amoung them. Hell, we know almost nothing about it...

There's a few really good looking games coming out for the PS3 soon. Killzone will be sweet too.
 
im not trying to be negative, but i dont see what the fuss over killzone 2 is. killzone 1 sucked! im lucky i only bought it for $10


i think ign gave it a 6.7

Some people liked it, some people didn't. When sequels of games are made on next generation consoles, they're kind of expected to do better. Let's hope Killzone 2 fits that group.
 
Wow, I never knew that. That could not have been more obvious of a statement. Everything is like that, that's nothing new.

Have some patients Hines. Shadow of the Colossus came out only a little more than a year ago. For a new one, the devs will have to make an entirely new graphics engine that will work with the PS3 (or use an already existing one), and then produce the game. This is all only if they decide to make a sequel which hasn't even been confirmed yet, so it will be a while till we see another one.

As for Star Fox, that will obviously be for the Wii and if they just go back to the original formula (unlike assault and adventure) and maybe add online play, it will be a great game.

As for Killzone, I still don't really see it being anything more than a good shooter, especially considering its coming out very soon and we have no info...
