Reserves start tomorrow on SSBM, SMG and FE

In the NES, SNES era it was Zelda>Mario, sure. Mostly because I hadn't played Metroid, and Pokemon wasn't even around. My favorite Mario game to this day is still actually Yoshi's Island (SNES).

I just have never been that big on platformers, period. The only one I actually do like is Mario.
I would recommend picking up the original Metroid games when they come to the VC. They are really good apparently. For me: Zelda>Mario>Metroid, but with what's oujt now Zelda>Metroid>Mario.

I agree Retro. Alot of Nintendo fanboys (not talkin bout you hines) seek pity because people look down on Nintendo, but when you say you don't like a game, they rain hell upon you. It's stupid I know.

No, it's a basic 'challenge'. It's easy to navigate the worlds, easy to beat the enemies, easy to find the Star/Sprite, and so on. Plus, I've already gone through the area six times, why do i want to go through it more?

ur an embarrassment to the mario games -.-

No, I'm not. If I want to spend $50, I want it to last me to make it worth that. Not a long game(I don't care about that), but one with replay value, which is severly lacking in 3D Mario platformers.

Why does everyone but me have a time machine?

Stop assuming so much about a game you know so little of.

Yes, but saying "you can't say it wont be good! It's a Mario game!" is as bad as saying it's going to suck.

Let's just not speculate at all until we see some reviews come in.

It has the same exact format, and I'm talking about the format.

EDIT: Oh, right, this may be just me, but last I checked, SSBM came out five years ago.

::) nothing you say makes sense
Im saying that the relationship between Hines and Fhq mirrors the one between Jack and Runefan.

I went in to reserve Fire Emblem today and the guy working there got me to reserve Smash, too. :lol I wasn't planning on it since I was just going to ask for it for Christmas. But then he reminded me that it might be hard to find coming out at that time, and I don't want to have to look everywhere, so I was like "OK sure."

So now I have Metroid Prime 3 and Fire Emblem paid in full, and I have $5 down on SSBB (and I'll have someone else pay for the rest! :D )

And as for SMG, I might be able to get that from BV. :)
