I understand that Africans were upset with the way they were associated with this title.

Personally,I can sort of see why,but it doesn't matter.It's not like the programmers are targeting them specifically.

I saw the spoilers. =_= Won't put up my impressions on the story yet until I get to play this at a friend's house next weekend.

Personally, I think Wesker will be killed by Chris. Chris has got to be the one to kill him, their battle is the most personal. And, this is a good game to start moving forward towards new plot elements (Wesker controlling everything is kinda getting old)

Umbrella + Avon = face cream?

OK, so this is a joke, right?

Avon isn't serious with the design of its Derma-full face cream, an exact replica of Resident Evil Apocalypse's T-virus. We were astounded recently when we caught the commercial for Avon's product on television, a "skin care breakthrough," delivering "fullness perfected, not injected" for aging skin.

The beauty in all of this is not only does Avon's bottle look like that of the T-virus, but, in the film, the Umbrella Corporation's Regenerate product was also originally intended as a similar skin-rejuvenation cream. We're thinking some young marketing guy at Avon got a big laugh when he got this passed. Enjoy comparing both commercials after the break.

There is a commercial on the site about the cream. Weird, huh? Strangely clever idea though. :lol I thought this was the best thread to put this in.

We got a big package from Capcom this morning, containing not only the Collector's Edition of Resident Evil 5, but also an adorable zombie detection and suppression kit from the fine people of Tricell. What's it all look like? Well, we're glad you asked, as we've lovingly placed a full-on dissection just after the break. Seriously, it's a dissection. There are rubber gloves involved.

Game spoilers

Sheva and Chris' interaction throughout the game is impressive. How they deal with their own personal issues while connecting on a level is definitely surprising at how well scripted it is. When Chris describes Jill's death, it really heightens up the anticipation to find if she is alive. Great writing so far. Since Jill died to protect Chris, it really creates an emotion.

I want Claire in RE6. I don't know how and why, but I want her in it. :lol

PS3 owners of Resident Evil 5 will find a special surprise waiting for them when comparing their Trophy info with friends. Capcom has (accidentally?) revealed information about the game's upcoming DLC through newly uploaded Trophies. The DLC appears to introduce a number of new online modes: Slayers, Survivors, Team Slayers, Team Survivors and Versus. It's not exactly clear what these modes entail, but they appear to be competitive modes. "Team Survivors" gives us hope that Capcom is working on a co-operative mode inspired by Resident Evil Outbreak Left 4 Dead.

What about 360 users?!

The DLC will probably come out on the 360. They're only talking about the Trophy info for the PS3. They might end up releasing achievements soon anyways.

(I might just be speculating at the moment. Seeing as it's only the right thing for Capcom to do. :lol)

We spotted it and now it's reality: Capcom will be adding several new online multiplayer modes to Resident Evil 5, for a price. The "Versus" pack will allow up to four players to compete across two different game types, including Slayer's Rule, a "point-based game that challenges players to kill Majinis," and Survivor's Rule, which focuses on player-vs-player combat, with the last person standing claiming victory. Each game mode will support one-on-one, or two-vs-two play.

Capcom says Versus mode will be available "a few weeks" after the game's release and will cost 400 ($5) and $3.99 on Xbox Live and PSN, respectively.

Confirmed: The DLC will be on 360 and PS3, but it's cheaper on PS3?! O.o

Lol dun dun dunnn...but talking about the DLC this early doesn't make me too happy. Means they've had this on their minds for quite some time. Should be on the disc.
