And I pretty much hate it. The controls are clunky for everything and I did not enjoy playing it at all.

Hopefully I can get my money back...
 
although the wii isnt terrible, its certainly not amazing as it promised to be. it will in time my freind. if you wish to get your money back, i reccmomend getting a 360 for an amazing gaming experience.
 
Yeah, I have had a 360 since February 06. I already returned the Wii for a full refund, the people at Kmart were cool about it.

I was going into the purchase with high hopes, because I have heard little but praise for the hard to find Wii. Maybe in the future I will pick one up (Umbrella Chronicles and Brawl still look good) but at the moment the Wii is not for me.
 
Maybe I didn't give it enough time, but I could tell. The feeling of playing other consoles for the first time (like my 360) was incredible, this was not.

Also, I decided to take the money from the refund and put it in my savings account instead.
 
Yea but the 360 controller is just like the xbox. The Wii is a totally different experience. Were in the summer drought right now, but once fall hits, then i would reccomend get a wii again! :D
 
u still havent sed what games you bought, that makes a world of difference cuz believe u me there are some crappy games for the wii, as with every console ever made

I'm with you guys. Speaking from my limited experience with a Wii..........I love the controls, and those stupid cheap Wiigames suck............he should have given it more time than a day and bought some better games. :P
 
I got mine a couple weeks after it came out and I haven't touched it since. I had Zelda TP (worse game to come out in a while), DBZ Budokai 2, and Rayman Raving Rabbids. Rayman was fun for a while till I beat it. DBZ I had fun unlocking the players. I'm only keeping mine until SSBB comes out. Nothing else really looks promising to me right now...except maybe Mario.
 
shame to hear that you were unsatified with the Wii

from what I've played of it right now feels like a gimic hopfully Nintendo will release some better games for it
 
HE didn't like it because it was different. The controls can't be clunky, really, it's his arm moving. They can be off a bit with the sensor(looks at Red Sell's late reaction sword), but not clunky(unless they really try to make them suck). He's not used to actually playing the game.
 
Each person has their own tastes. But I just have to wonder how much are people who hate the Wii now going to wish they had kept them when Super Smash Bros. Brawl comes out near Christmas and they can't find another Wii to play that game.

This explains a lot. I heard Wii Play absolutely sucked. It was basically an excuse to buy a controller for most people and the entire game is just generally underwhelming. If that's the only game you bought Spartan, I can understand why you hated the Wii.

nah, ive got wii play, i dont think it sucks, ok as a game it does suck, but to get it with a controller it was alright, i enjoy playing it from time to time, and i understand y he sed it was clunky if he played pool, theres a certain way u have to do it, but to only have it for a few hours he probably never gotten around to hitting a decent shot

I haven't had the change to go out and buy a Wii yet, but I am not liking the reviews right now. I am hoping that with better games coming, all will be well for the Big N. But untill then, I'll get my kicks on my Cube.
