Sony says no price cut on PS3 until better sales!

I don't think it's 'suffering that bad', just suffering. It's got less than half the total sales of the other two, not very many games to justify buying it, and most people have better, more important things to spend $500+ dollars on.

I guess....I have no complaints. It does more than the 360 out of the box. :)

360 with everything = $790

PS3 out of the box (which has everything) = $500

I like my Ps3. :)

Problem for me is, I can't use most of the PS3's 'everything', so most stuff in it would be pointless for me for another few years.

In other words, a waste of money now.

Than that's for you, and that's ok. I personally like the standard large hard-drive, free online play, blu-ray player, smoother frame rate on most games, and controllers that take 10 minutes to charge fully. :)

I would enjoy the hard drive if I thought I would actually fill the whole thing up(which I probably won't), online play I agree with, Blu-Ray player, eh, can't get the full experience, so it's pretty pointless, smoother frame rate, who doesn't like that, and the charging is nice.

$350 for a premium + $170 for HD-DVD + $100 for wifi + $50 for xbl = $670. Unless I'm missing something pretty significant, it's a little less than what you said. Still though, it's more expensive than the PS3, which, I think was your point in the first place.

Much cheaper if you use the ethernet cable over the Wireless Adapter. So actually, it could be around $600, which is the same as the PS3 a few months ago.

I'm basing the best of both systems. The Elite and the 80 GB PS3.

Key words: "a few months ago".

We're talking about now.

Ok, but I think the 360 library is worth the extra $100, don't you?

You said the PS3 has good games now/coming out, and while most people will say the former is far from true(bar a few), the latter is slightly more positive. And to match your Uncharted, I threw up Mass Effect.

But the 360 had a much better library right now. Pretty much no one can deny that.

Nah, they have a much larger library, not a much better. Seriously though, you don't have a PS3...why am I debating with you? :lol

Yes there's a switch to digital in 2009, but my tv is so ancient that I can't even pick up analog signals all that well... We only have one HDTV in the house, and because it's the only television that we can watch TV on, I'm not allowed to have any gaming systems hooked up to it.

Besides the fact that I haven't even touched my PS2 in well over a year, I have much more fun with my 360 and my Wii.

$350 for premium + $49.99 for live = $400 on my end.

You talk about the Wii a lot, yet you don't have one.

You sold it many months ago, and haven't played one since, right? You can't talk about anything beyond the time when you sold it, then.
