Resistance sold tons of systems at launch, no? White Knight won't sell decent anywhere, except maybe Japan.

not exactly JRPGs don't sell very well outside of japan, even if they are from square-enix if they don't have the name final fantasy on it then the game most likely won't sell a lot here.

Neither really hit the mainstream like Halo and GTA and Smash. You need that mainstream attention in order to be a system mover.

Advertising doesn't mean it will move systems. It has to be showy and exciting in the ad for people to take notice. And most people disregard things based on name.

And yes, Fr0dus is right...there's a ton other games out there that can be named system sellers.

Personally, I'm excited about it so that I can get more Achievement points. :lol I will probably still get a PS3 but it may take even longer now that I don't need it for FFXIII.

No. There's high selling games you can name, but that doesn't make them system sellers. A system seller is usually a sequel nowadays, anyways.
 
Final Fantasy VII remake on the PS3 ... now that's a system seller. ;)
