suggestions for Nintendo in 2008

WTH?! Nintendo even said Wii is for more casual gamers. For hardcore gamers like us it has a Zelda Gamecube port, a Resident Evil 4 Gamecube port, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and Super Mario Galaxy.

*sigh* here i go

fire emblem radiant dawn ON EASY (if you played hector's hard mode then try it..on normal)
super monkey ball : try getting the last stage
sonic and the secret ring: try getting all the gold medals
trauma center 1 and 2: hard mode just try it
zack and wiki: try at least beating the game without a walkthrough
resident evil umbrella chronicles: try it on hard mode

and those are the ones i own..... if i'm not mistaken it's hard to get everything in elebits,

*slaps forehead*

"Hardcore" doesn't mean "hard"!

EDIT - @Fr0dus, metroid prime 3 is about as metroidy as metroid games get. the controls are the only thing that distinguishes it from the first two in terms of "faithfulness to the series"

It wasn't 2D or a straight forward platformer.

still some of the games on my list are hardcore (i just figured that the part of hard in the word "hardcore" doesn't have to do with anything :lol)

Neither were the 2D ones....nonetheless, this post further proves my point.

Hines.. u phail at understanding my posts. Metroid Prime is like SM64 for me. You may call it Metroid or put it in the Metroid Universe but itll never feel like Metroid in my eyes. U said MP3 was the most Metroidy a game can be ur wrong it was the most Prime a game could be. So yea I dont see how that post proved ur point that "I think retro = hxc"

Ok, are you happy with the three hardcore games the Wii currently has, or are you content playing Wii Sports?

Yes. I am plesantly content with Nintendo's games on the Wii.

And if Nintendo says that the Wii is a casual system, as you claim, why go to such great lengths to keep saying all the Wii is is a bunch of minigames?

I agree Jack. I'm happy with the Wii's library, but it could be much better. It's still very young though, so of course that problem will be solved in time.

We can only hope. But I'm wary to say it will, unequivocally, get better, given the problems the Gamecube, and N64 had with their libraries.

I understand. But the Wii's crazy success is bringing games galore to it's library. Let's just hope some of those are good games, rather than 3rd party developers just trying to make a dollar on the success.

Zidart, we're so fat, half of us would break the balance board the second we step on it. :lol
Sadly, Nintendo knows that, and is debating making an American strength Balance Board.

DDR is probably better exercise than Wii Fit if you want to use video games for that. But I might try Wii Fit for the relaxation of something like yoga. And I think the Balance Board will have other applications beyond Wii Fit, eventually.

You'd be surprised, that one guy in Game Informer dropped five pounds in the five days he played Wii Fit.

Yeah, Wii fit, as with a gym, isn't going to cause you to lose weight just buy playing it. You have to have a good diet and sleep schedule as well.
