@the anti-wow people

You have no right to mock people who play this game. What we do in our lives is up to us. I don't make fun of you guys so I would expect to be treated the same. And while this may shock you, most people who play WoW do NOT make it their whole life, and as in any case, you only hear about the few who set a bad example for the other 7.9 million.

I used to play wow. I wish I could erase that from my past because it was a huge waste of my life. I quit the service after 3 months.

I don't know who specifically you are talking about, but I have nothing against WoW. Its just pretty scary when someone plays for 60 DAYS. DAYS. I personally think WoW is overrated, but I don't hate anyone who plays it. They just scare me when they spend so very much time on one game. Maybe that's not the majority of the people who play WoW, but those who do play for that long really do need to go to rehab of some kind. 8)

You know, I apologize for what I said about the WoW being pale skinned and allergic to sunlight. But like Cherry said, it just freaks some of us out whenever we hear about somebody who has 60 days of play on one game. I don't like the game, I'll tell you that right now. But, you are right. People, including I, should not mock people for playing the games that they love. No one mocks us for playing Halo or Doom, so we have no right to mock them. I'm truly sorry Big Mac, if I offended you, or the any of the other 7.9 million other WoW players. So just go ahead and put the dunce hat on my head and send me to the corner.

I agree, I have no right to mock WOW or any other game for that matter. Sometimes I wish that people would go back to the more social in person RPGs though.

Are you talking about D&D and those other table top RPG's?

I don't mock the people who play WoW....I mock WoW as a game. I think it's stupid, and alot of people look to into the game. I have so many friends that get really heated when they die. It's sad. I also have a couple friends that have gained an abnormal amount of weight due to this game and one friend lost his job. I think it's really sad.

wow this is totally aimed at me.......

still, it CAN make ur grades go down and it CAN lose u girls.

think about it.

Any game that has the potential to ruin your social life is pathetic. And anyone who is willing to let a game ruin their social life is pathetic. And that's regardless of what title it is.

So if I offended you in saying that, I am not the least bit apologetic. Because that means you are willing to let a game drive everyone away. I hope you understand where I am coming from...

I've almost stopped playing video games entirely recently. Probably less than 6 hours in the past week.

Exercising is more rewarding and fun in my opinion. I would recommend to any of you WoW players to try giving up the game for something like exercise, I think you will like the results.

Okay guys...honestly...you know me, you know I'm a big classic gamer and I'm knowledgable and play a lot of games for most of the systems out there. Since I picked up WoW a couple months ago..I have literally not played another game. My main charaacter I have logged 16 days of gameplay on there. It's such a rich and in depth environment with so much to do, you really can't top it. I especially love the pvp...and I pwn at it.

If any of you play, or are interested in playing, I run a fairly sizable guild on the Kilrogg server now (horde of course) and I'll make sure you're taken care of :D

Pale and Allergic to sun eh? Actually most WoW players I have met in person are extremely friendly in person and in their 30's or 20's.

Oh well, I like how I can shoot down all the sterotypes of what people think WoW players look like. Don't listen to what people tell you how others are suppose to act and look like. It's just a game we really enjoy, just like you enjoy any other game.

That means someone has wasted almost half a year of their life playing WoW.
