More information from the Konami Press Release besides the info I already posted about Castlevania. And the info on Silent Hill Origins due to it being the same information we already know.

Konami announces the expansions for MGO to be released tomorrow. MGO tournaments shall take place at Comic-Con and the best of the best from MGO for a tournament with the World Finals taking place at the Tokyo Game Show.

Konami has exclusive video game partnership with Linkin Park's Tour.

Elebits shall get a DS release. Lost in Blue is getting a Wii release.

"Rock Revolution will be the most realistic Rock game out to date." Paying the most attention to the drum set the drum set for Rock Revolution has 7 pads.

They showed a trailer and said it was coming this fall but that's about it. They talked more on Castlevania Judgement over anything else. Actually Judgment was the game that was showed the most.

Oh Judgment will have 14 playable characters.

I disagree. Being a Japanese company didn't stop Nintendo from having awesome E3s in 2004, 2005, and 2006. I went to two of those E3s ('04 and '05) and Nintendo pwned those E3s in my opinion.

I think, rather, that it's their misplaced focus on the casual market that caused E3 2007 and E3 2008 to be less than remarkable. Did their 2007 TGS make up for their crappy 2007 E3? I don't even remember, so I kind of doubt it.

I care what was shown. I care that instead of actually showing NSBM/Zelda/Pikmin/Madworld/Kirby, they just mentioned "Oh yeah they are in development." Like that's supposed to cut it.

@Mai, The TGS last year for Nintendo was where the big punches came in, I would have to say. So here's hoping that that 08' show will do the same.

oh that's kinda low >_> only 14???? well is not like they had that many to get from and is their first fighter.

Is TGS in December? Well, they will be further along in development cycles then, at least. So there's some hope.

@ Zidart, true, but I think they could have had a better E3.

i know XD.

i do hate nintendo for making the most dissapointing show in history, but the lineup for the wii is solid so i gotta at least be happy about that (i hate nintendo as a company now but i still like the games on their consoles....i don't know if you can get what i mean xD)

It's in September. I'm not sure if two months is enough time for many of the developers to have a playable build. I'm guessing we will just get some trailers.

nintendo will get my respect again if they at least show a tech demo of the new games
 
I thought Nintendo was going to be "announcing" more games or announcements this week. So far there has been nothing except expanded info on the Animal Crossing and the Pikmin.

Nothing of which garnishes any interest.

The company specific conferences are definitely much better than Nintendo.

The vague Zelda announcement, I guess sparks some joy in me. But I am tired of these half based annoucements, 1 part Concrete, 1 part speculation. I will probably get it if it is either High Quality or it is of Wind Waker style :)
