The offical FALLOUT 3 Thread

Fallout games are designed for replayability, which is why there's a level 20 cap.

Yeah, and the storylines of the first two aren't very long/good. I love them for other reasons, but that doesn't mean I can't wish for a decent main quest in Fallout 4. :D

In lighter news, OPERATION: ANCHORAGE will be released Jan 27th!

Fallout 3 PS3 still has issues.

Not really issues. They're just stating that they have no plans for DLC for the PS3 right now.

And as the article implies, it's mostly because Microsoft paid the money for the DLC.

Fallout 3: Operation: Anchorage.

Makes me home sick, but this expansion is a trip! Sweet extras!

I finished it. It was pretty sweet, but not worth the $10 Sadly it was about 4 hours straight. I am kind of disappointed, it was a sweet concept. Yet I wish it would have been 10 hours maybe. Yet 4? No way, but it feels like the Fable 2 syndrome, by adding wicked cool stuff at the end.

Entirely, the Operation Anchorage felt like I was playing a James Bond scenario. The rules of the game are changed a bit and it's more of a survival. I highly recommend that your perception and gun skills are increased greatly before this starts or else you'll have a rough time like I did.

Bottom line here: It should have been $5!

Is it worth it? For the extra goodies, easy achievements, AND
Dragon Clan Stealth Suit and a sweet T-51b WINTERIZED modded armor!
Of course!

The future of Fallout looks sweet as can be.

The Broken Steel expansion will increase the cap to level 30 and REMOVE the ending.

Also, brief discussion of FALLOUT 4.

Nooo..please. Let Fallout 3 rest for a while. I don't want Fallout 4 till 2011 at the earliest.
Why? I'll take it whenever Bethesda finishes it. Given that they have the engine built already, they could make a great sequel in a year or two.

Yeah, and then release $40 worth of expansions on an unfinished game less than a month later. I just want them to take their time...I'm starting to hate expansions.

you know you don't HAVE to buy the expansions... they are just extra stuff that is OPTIONAL, if you don't want them don't buy them, the game is complete as it is, these are just expansions

I would rather they get the next game out quickly so they don't have time to churn out 20 more expansions for Fallout 3.

Yes, Zi, I get it. They're OPTIONAL. But the OPTION should be unnecessary after the game is out for a short period of time.

I'd rather have the expansions than a rushed game.
