they are?

did you read the part about how the controller was used (what I am talking about in the last post?)

Bv :hat

Ive read a lot about it so yes I have. Did you see the mock up IGN made? It's at the bottom of this article

Huh?? Sorry, I saw the pictures but didn't read any of the article. So if they are making a shell to allow gamers to play old school games, then why are there people who are complaining??

I dont think that's enough for them, I guess, or they probably didnt read through the articles that I put up and are just critiscizing by looks.

Re: Here it is people the moment we've all been waiting for

I was too lazy to read the article at the time. :lol I'll go back and read it later, but I still don't want to hold a strong opinion either way until I at least see how it works.

Hard to go wrong with a TWO button lay out ehh?

Although it has more than two buttons, yes it would be hard to actually not be able to utilize all the buttons.

ok... but there are other buttons besides the 2.
... maybe those can be used.

And there is a shell coming out as well. I saw a picture of that.

Re: The Recently Revealed Nintendo Revolution Controller

No, it doesn't.

I'm not couting the Home, Power button etc. I'm talking about the ones that will be used for Gamplay. Two buttons. The other ones at the bottom, will be used if someone want to hold the controler sideways, they do the same thing.

Re: The Recently Revealed Nintendo Revolution Controller

So you're not going to count the D-pad, which is supposed to work as a 4 function button instead (as have most games that utilize it), as well as the 2 Z triggers on one half controller, and the B button on the underside of the other half controller

Exactly, there are two more buttons on the analog stick.

Re: The Recently Revealed Nintendo Revolution Controller

But that's not part of the offical controller. And, although I have figured that they are going to use theD-Pad as buttons, it's going to be akward as hell.

Yeah it is, even though it's not physically attached. But you're right at first it is going to be ackward, hopefully it gets more comfortable the more you play it.

Re: The Recently Revealed Nintendo Revolution Controller

It'll be like popping in a set of contacts. At first they're a bit weird. Maybe even a bit comfortable. But then after a while, you can't live without them. Except for me. Poking my eyeball freaks me out and makes me feel sickly. But I still like the controller design.

I went with a friend of mine to the mall when I was visiting him in Binghamton NY. He was going to get contacts (he wears glasses), and it must've taken him 3 hours just to take both in and out of his eyes. He must've also went through 3 tissue boxes getting rid of tears and watery eyes from poking around there.

Meanwhile, I grabbed Nexus for the PC, only to find I need a graphics card that's 5x more powerful then the one I have...

Re: The Recently Revealed Nintendo Revolution Controller

Ahh contacts. I remember wearing them once, then my eyes started rejecting them, and now I cant wear them without getting an infecftion. Oh well, I actually just prefer wearing glasses. It's only incovenient when I want to go on roller coasters.

Re: Here it is people the moment we've all been waiting for

Haha, ya, after reading all those articles and understanding a bit more about this controller, I'm willing to admit my first post was pretty much entirely wrong. :lol

And that's about as humble as I get so you guys better be happy with that. Although I still look at this thing with great skepticism and wonder how they are going to make SSB:M the multiplayer marvel it was on this... thing... I can see the possibilities other games could have on it.

As a later post of mine said, I'm really curious to see what the launch titles for this are. I'm a long way from literally buying into this controller idea, but the potential is there to see something really great. I also like this "shell" idea they have, for more conventional controls, where the remotre thing basically sits in the controller.

I also wonder if sensitivity is going to be an issue, like, is not having a steady hand going to make the game shake all the time? How much do I have to swing my arm around to make it work?

:woot :woot :woot PARRTY FOR STEALTH :lol Admit it.... Nintendo is still your favorite :lol

well... I don't see sensitivity being a problem unless you have parkinsons (not trying to make fun of those with it.... I am just saying... I Am sure the normal hand will be steady enough).

Re: Here it is people the moment we've all been waiting for

Yeah I dont have parkinsins but my hands shake like I have it. Dont know why but they always have
and I dont want my games to be impossible to stand still in :'(

Re: Here it is people the moment we've all been waiting for

oh what... So now if I wanna play games with a regular controller I'm gonna have to buy one separately? I'm not really liking this "new" controller. I mean how much are all these attachments gonna cost? and how many attachments am I gonna need? It'll suck if I need one to play FP,S then a separate one to play adventure games, then a separate attachment for the new Zelda, then a regular controller. I just dont get how this is making gaming less complicated as Nintendo has stated.

Actually as of now it will be included. You dont have to buy the extra controller shell. If you own a GC then you can still use those controllers also.

Re: Here it is people the moment we've all been waiting for

HOw do you know it will be included? Do you have a link?
And what if I don't have a GCN controller...
