To keep or not to keep a PS2?!? That is the question!

how about you all stop using cheating devices and play your games the real way. i finally realized how fhq really got all of those stars in super mario galaxy.
Joke?

Did you read what I said? Gamesharks aren't used to alter game code anymore.

....Oh! I used my AR DS?

Oh, snap, wait.

Gameshark isn't endorsed, though, so doesn't that make it illegal right there?

No, game stores always carried them. Endorsed or not. They're not allowed to carry illegal products like Super Cards or rom-using devices.

I think you mean non-licensed. Which is still OK except they void your warranty if it ever messes up any official licensed product. It's assumed that you use it at your own risk.

No, I meant it's not endorsed by any of the companies, so doesn't that make it illegal to use?

Any non-licensed product is not endorsed. So we're both right. So no it's not illegal. But it does void your warranty.

Back to the original question. Answer is still keep it. It seems that Sony is discontinuing all but the 40GB PS3, which to my knowledge does not support backwards compatibility.

So in the turn of events. I did find a 60GB PS3 on Ebay, however when it arrived, it was dead. The disc drive wouldn't even budge. I was so close to getting the perfect one. So, my only other method, is to hold onto this Silver PS2 until something comes along.

Poor, poor Mega. :-\

I suggest Amazon over ebay. They're at least a good $750 there, but I've bought from Amazon countless times and never had a single problem.

Today, someone traded in a 60GB PS3 right before we closed. Yet I know for a fact, that system will not leave the store as soon as the higher ups find out.

So ah Mega, you ah want us to send a little message to higher ups. Maybe you know, break a few legs, send a finger of a loved one, you got any choice pal.
