None. I haven't ditched work to play, either. Usually my game marathons are planned out ahead of time and I make sure they are on my day off, or that I ask for the day off to play it.

None, since my parents were afraid of video games and would not let me buy any...plus, I was homeschooled...so I couldn't really ever ditch school. lol. Not that I would have...lol

I've ditched school but never for video games.
Although there was this one time when I came back to class late from lunch because I drove to Best Buy to pick up GTA: San Andreas.

I used to skip the occasional class here and there to play some counterstrike, but in grade school I don't think I ever skipped because of a game.

I was talking about college life with Spartanevolved and remembered an old article. Granted, though it's about Quake and written back in 1997, all of the advice is still as relevant to college life, and being a gamer, as it was ten years ago.
This is a worthy read for ALL of us since managing enough time for work, sleep, and social life around being a gamer is still important.
