Dart said:Pssst. "Killer whales" aren't whales at all. It's an orcha.
I'd have to dissagree. Mainly because I don't believe evolution doesn't explain the beginning of life. Well, at least according to National Geographic. I am a Creationist.![]()
creepindeth04 said:What? So the fact that we came from very simple organisms a long time ago isnt enough for you? I'd choose evolution over creationism any day. It's not even scientifically possible, nor can you prove it.
Dart said:So there is evidence of a steady evolutionary process?? Oddly enough even scientists can't agree if there is one or not. And since I can't place faith in a "theory" nor can I place my faith in a scientific community who can't agree. I do admit the whole concept is complex. But there are ideas and beliefs about the "How" that are opposites on the spectrum.
With Creationism, not only does it make sense, it solves many of the questions that boggle the human mind. It also makes way for having a foundation from which we can safely judge what is good and what is evil. We can now have a Creator to look to instead of cheapining the value of life and making our purpose here meaningless.
I am not prepared for a debate, nor am I willing to start an argument. I merely stated that I didn't believe that evolution is true.
No Maiden. No arguments at all, trust me.

you said you cant believe in a theory but creationism is one big theory
maiden fan said:no but ive gone in a sharck cage in a shark tank at sea world.
that was amazing
I've seen some humpbacks in the San Francisco bay area once. I got to take a boat ride in the bay, and I was like the only one not throwing up overboard. Unfortunately I never got to set foot on Alcatraz...creepindeth04 said:By the way, Ive always wanted to see whales on some kind of boat trip or something Has anybody else seen them?
Dart said:The best way to explain my case is to ask you to read A Case for Faith and A Case For Christ by Lee Strobel. He's an athiest-turned-pastor who actually spent a lot of his time and his talents as a journalist to interview scholars from just about every scientific field. And his case is very strong.
I agree to an extent. The main problem that stops me from debating is the potential for insults. It's human nature to attack the debator instead of the case when they feel cornered. And I agree that there is no hard evidence on both sides. But the circumstantial evidence that supports creationism is the same amount that can put away a murder suspect in a court of law. I won't say the same for evolution because obviously I am biased.SpartanEvolved said:Evolution vs Creationism is a pointless "debate". Niether side budges enough to make any difference, and both are based off of things that CANNOT be proven.
