Between the Core , and the 80gb PS3, $150. Between the 80gb, and arcade, $230, and between the 80gb and elite, $50.

i mean gamewise and feature wise
The PS3 probably has more features than the 360, which is why it costs more. Games, the 360 has the edge still, I'll give you that, although most games coming out now are around for both the 360 and PS3.

They are video game consoles meant to play video games. Who gives 2 craps about features? Just play games, that's all it needs to do. Pretty simple.

EXACTLY MAN!

people are always like "dude the ps3s features are so much better than the 360s"

and then we 360 players say

"yeah, too bad the games aren't"

which is why Nintendos "no HD. no harddrive. no dvd player" approach is pure genious

people are getting to caught up with their fancy hd tvs and downloadable games, that they overlook whats inportant

how is pure genius when micro transactions will be the next big thing in the digital world.

People aren't using the PS3 and 360 just for a gaming machine. They use it for a media hub and such. In which case is a very smart move as it can be much cheaper with the consoles. And the fact one has better features than the one can most certainly be a deciding factor in a purchase.

Well now a days the gaming consoles are turning into a multimedia station and saying their gaming machines anymore is just wrong.

I know, and it's unfortunate. I can understand how some people are attracted to all the features, but for the majority of us all we really want the things for is to play games.

i have a pc that does all of these things (better than a console, to start) and so does the majority of people in this country

thats one country and not everyone in the country has a PC that can be a media hub.

Plus do you always want to be on the computer watching a video that u've made or downloaded or would you rather sit down and watch it on a tv?
