What does PS3 have for 08?

XBL costs a ton of money, and is it really all that much better than PSN? There are down loadable games, far more than XBL arcade, and the online play, for both consoles is gonna be determined by which game you're playing, not which system you're playing it on.
 
The PSN is actually pretty good when u can compare them side by side. I mean come on the PSN has dedicated servers. And Hines dont u hate online?

And other features;

PS3: Divx Playback, Instant Messaging, Linux Support, Customizable Splash Screens, Web Browsing, full download of PS3 games, full download of games.

360: ummm yea....., soon to have downloadable games from the xbox, cant think of much.
 
did you just say ps3 has more downloadable games than the xbox 360?

360 has over 250 XBLA games

ps3 has like....what, 12?

EDIT - @frodo, xbox 360 has both instant messaging and full downloadable games

Well yea it's not *entirely* unfortunate, I do see the need and use for some features of course. I guess I was just speaking for myself really; I would never buy a console for the features, all that matter is the games and the controllers.
 
umm no it doesnt have the same type of IMing system

the PS3 has AIRAIM which lets u IM anyone with ANY sn unlike the 360 where u can only IM someone with only MSN

EDIT: And for the downloadable games. PSN has over 40 full games from the PSX, PSP, and PS3. Also some arcade games. And XBL games are overpriced.

Personally I think having only 512 MB of internal memory is not very smart considering how many great games are on the Virtual Console and how quickly they fill up that 512 MB. The Wii should have come with a much bigger HD. It should have been a minimum of 1 gig.

I'm not trying to bash on it, considering the titles I stated were pretty much the only big ones. Truth =/= bias.
 
well even if there's not a lot coming next year for the ps3 it doesn't matter because i wouldn't have the money to play a lot of titles

Come on. You don't have a PS3. Of course you don't really care what's coming out. Then again, it doesn't matter, cause we don't really know what's all coming out in 08 yet for the PS3. I'm guessing another 20 or so exclusives.

final fantasy XIII, versus XIII and killzone are my options for next year...i don't know or i'm not interested in anything else, take these options or leave them is your choice.

So you have one option? FFXIII and XIII Versus are delayed until 09/10. They won't be around for a while.

oh i didn't know about that.....well like the wii and 360 i know something will come out for the ps3 next year

you never know....remember how many times XII was delayed, i'll wait until square-enix gives a specific release date
