What game series do you hate the most?

personally,i thought that the gran tourismo was dull.a great game for those who really know their way around cars what with all the terminology and car parts that most never heard of let alone how to use them.

Can't really say. I have hated the fan base of a lot of games though.

Although I decided that after KIngdom Hearts 2 I'm not buying another KH game til they have a new cast/story or atleast Gaston

because players find games like this one due to the cussing, violence and sexual content.

Well, whenever I hear someone speak about it. It's always a good way to vent they claim. As for the game play, I'm always used to the direction of a game that gives you the proper objectives and won't allow you to progress until it's done. GTA doesn't. Just choose any mission you want and go in no real order. I'm not used to that.

Meh, the 3 PS2 GTA's are awesome games. I love open ended RPG's such as Morrowind, and GTA basically took that same premise, but put it in a more modern setting. The violence and cussing is the least of what I enjoyed in GTA. Anyhow! For me it's either the Mortal Kombat or Mega Man series. Tried 'em, couldn't stand 'em.

Actually, the main story line is linear, but it has many side quests you can do. There is order in the main story and you can not progress until you complete the proper mission(s).

As for a series I hate, it would have to be the Halo series. Overhyped FPS.

Okay Vice City soundtrack ftw. :P Actually that's a really good observation about the GTA series to the free roaming RPG's like Morrowind.

@Creepin, Really? I've tried Vice City, 3, and 4. I just keep having bad luck with it.

in that case,i would advise against playing any saints row title.i know that game isn't a true series yet,but from what you said in post, you won't like these games.

Yup, sometimes when a storyline breaks off into different missions is because they introduce new characters and you have to complete missions with them before you can progress. The missions can be a tad out of order, but you can't really progress until you complete the proper ones.

Saint's Row. Yeah, I hate the fact it tried to rip off San Andreas. Don't get me wrong it's a solid game series, but gosh could they make the demographic audience more obvious? I would be too embarrassed to have that on my gamertag score. :lol

@Creepin. Hm, that does sound good. I'm still unsure to try it again, but I may fall flat on my face again if I do..

If you don't have fun with the game, then I don't see why you should force yourself. It seems like you gave the series plenty of chances.

I gave GTA4 three chances (twice on 360 and once on PS3). Vice City 3 chances (one being cruising around listening to the radio :lol), and GTA3 only once.
