they should have kept Revolution

i was looking at old topics and some guy said,

"dude i am so gettin a Revolution!"

im like noooo your not dude. lolzorz
 
Nintendo probably went along with the name because they figured that America gave the least support for the cube and in Japan where they are very popular the name isn't suggestive
 
The Wii is a catchy name and while Revolution sounded cooler the Wii name has grown on me. :D
 
That's true i guess. the name may be popular with lower IQ leveled people and people who are easily amused. no offence to those kind of people.

But i think it is retarded because the name is just wierd. For example, a kids mom telling him/her to get off the wii and go to bed is just wierd. yes/no? :hh
 
it seems that most that in most cases the name wii is used out of context on purpose than sheer accident
 
I like it, though i guess twinky2009 has a point, if a kid said summin like I am going to play with my wii' that would sound weird. Its still not a good reason to hate it though
