Wii vs. Playstation 3 vs. Xbox 360

I'm pretty sure that the graphics processor in the PS3 is 550MHz and the one in the 360 is 500MHz. That's 50MHz of difference. Then surely, the graphics on the PS3 can't be that much better than on the 360, especially as the 360 is the console that's the closest to fulfilling its potential. Oh, and the Wii has a 243MHz graphics processor.

Gooooo Wii! It looks like every gamer is rooting for it.

I was almost certain when I joined this site it would be absolutely full of Wii-haters and PS3-lovers. Who could've known it's actually the other way round? There's about as much love for the 360 as I expected though, i.e. less than there should be.

50 MHz isn't a huge difference, but in terms of graphics processing, it's still noticable. My X850 Pro for my computer is only about 100 MHz less then the X1800 XT, yet the difference in power is substantial.

In terms of CPU, 50 MHz isn't much, but with graphics, it can make a difference.

I play my 360 very often. If you look at my game list I beat last month...most of them were 360 games with an SNES game thrown in.

Nah. This site is pretty diverse with the [insert brand here] fanboy flavor. I personally don't much care who thinks which console is the best. My console list is long and I like them all. Although I am not seeing the benefit right now to paying mass quantities of my money for a system that does more than what I will use it for. Which is play videogames.

Thanks for letting me know.

Well, I would have to say I wouldn't mind a 360. I certainly have my reservations about it, but I wouldn't object to owning one.

--Edit--

Well, just got some sales figures for November of this year.

PS3 - 197,000 units
Wii - 476,000 units
360 - 511,000 units
DS - 918,000 units

I really don't know what to say about those numbers.
