Furthermore, as I've brought up before, if you spend 4,000 dollars (maybe on credit), then go to work and make 2,000 dollars.... You haven't really made 2,000 dollars. You've cleared 2,000 from your deficit, leaving you still at a negative 2,000 dollars.

But if those $4000 are invested and not just spent the possible returns on that investment could pay off tenfold.

Personally I still think it's way to early to tell. The Xbox 360 is the only console that is really starting to come into it's own, and the outlook for it looks good. The other two have barely even scratched the surface of their potential, until we see some killer titles for each system beyond robust fishing simulators and racing games with detailed mud physics it's all fair game.

Personally I'm holding off judegement on the PS3 until I see a God of War or Sly Cooper or Ico show up on it. And the Wii, well, I know what it's revolutionary controller can do, but I'm still waiting for an all around solid game to actually do it, and I'm not convinced that everything except the AAA titles will really take advantage of it.

Like I said, for me it's too early to tell, and I'm usually the guy who likes to speculate on these things. But after having played all three, nothing in the console war would surprise me.

Tell me first why it's a joke? Although they are trying desperately to find some kind of footing in Japan, there is no doubt that they will still be successful. It's fanbase is growing everyday. Being successful does not mean that they will win the console war just successful.

Yes I did imply profit in my earlier posts. But not in the one you quoted recently as that was not what meant. I guess I should have been more clear. Oh well.
