They still could have made a better title.

Why not something to do with Link's ability to turn into a wolf? Or even being the hero of Hyrule. Almost anything would have been better than "Twilight Princess"...

Meh, it's just a subtitle. Although it's bad in a way because it may steer away people new to the franchise. But like i've always said, those people suck. :p

If the title of a game turns some people away from playing it, they're probably not worthy anyway. :p

I agree with Mai, I would care if the subtitle was "Link goes on some stupid quest" as long as its Zelda, I'm buyin it.

its hard to weep while I am drooling over those new images they posted.  WOW is this game going to be very cool.
Those graphics are very nice.....   I can wait to hit up the gameplay.

Trust me, I am not complaining...... even though the graphics look nice... for some reason, it doesn't look like Zelda to me.

I wonder if they'll end up making it a launch title for the revolution?

A delayed game is eventually good, a bad game is forever.

This game better live up to that quote. Looks like the new Kirby is all I'm seeing this fall.

True, many wont be effected. Yet I honestly think it's a bad business move for this Christmas season. Sure we have DS, but what is the big title for Cube this year?

Seems like they dont want to compete with the new xbox. They will probably sell better without that much competition. Plus if they make this game right then the wait will be worth it.

As one person told me at work, "Nintendo doesn't need to compete that much, because they know where they are at in this industry and are happy at that position"

That doesnt mean that they arent competing. Because realistically they are whether they want to or not. But whether that is the reason or not for delaying the new Zelda? I dont know. But as long as the game comes out great Ill be happy.

True, but we can all say that Nintendo really isn't hurting

Much like last year, RE4 was delayed from the 04' X-mas season and managed to do extremely well regardless

It kind of sucks, but at the same time, I've been wondering for a while what Nintendo was going to do with the GC until the Rev comes out. Zelda was going to be the last big game for the GC, and if that came out in Nov. 2005 while the Rev is rumored to come out late 2006, what would people play on the GC for a whole year waiting for the Rev? So I can understand pushing back Zelda. Plus, it will give them more time on the game to make it better. Hopefully this delay will give them the time they need to make Twilight Princess even better than Ocarina of Time.

And the one Nintendo game worth waiting for makes you wait that much longer :'(. They really should have tried to release the game by the holiday season. Launching around the time of the PS3 and after the Xbox 360 is going to take the wind out of their sales and lessen the proverbial "punch" this title could throw.

*sigh* This was far too expected to even be dissapointing. I'd like to say Nintendo failed me but at this point I expect so little from them its nearly impossible. I just hope the game I initially bought my GC for will come out before Nintendo's next console comes, which could go either way.

That would be a great launch title. But Id rather have this one on the GC so that they can make an even better Zelda with the newer technology.

Uh, BV, I'm not sure how it is in the business world, but a few here is about 3.

This game was delayed about 7 months.

3/4'ths of a year.
