I thought I'd make a topic for all Halo related posts instead of there being a whole bunch of topics. Of course, it would have to be stickied or something to be really effective. But anyway.

The other night when I went to the Halo LAN party, I made my name just a bunch of spaces. It really confused the other team because when they'd kill me, it would say: You killed . And they would be like, "Who did I kill?" It was great. A friend of mine said they once played using the name "Don'tShoot" and it actually worked some of the time. :D

What's the best name or favorite name that you use for Halo?

I am just gonna brag here so don't mind me :p...Uhh, I beat the game on legendary alone and when I play mulitplayer people get mad at me and they gang up on me cause they can't kill me. Hehehehehe
 
Red Vs. Blue is so awesome! I love it. I have the first season on DVD and the second season up to the current episode (36) on my harddrive.

RVB is one of the reasons why I got broadband. :D

Who is your favorite character? Mine is definitely Sarge. He gets some of the best lines. Caboose is really funny, too.
 
Probably Donut or Caboose.......just because theyre really dumb  :lol i dunno, Grif is probably up there, too

I just checked and I don't have it. Woopsie! I will download it though after I finish downloading Ep 37.

MM - I always download the Hi-Res Quicktime version. Will that be ok? PSA2 in this format is 4.80 MB. What would be the best way to send it to you?
 
Where do you get the personal assistant? I've googled it and still was unable to find anything related to it.

I was going to start a thread, but this works fine enough for me. What's your favorite part of Halo (the missions)? I personally liked the "warthog race" at the end of The Maw. I think it's great fun, and even better to race a coop person :D!
 
The Personal Assistant is actually on the RVB site in the Fan stuff section. Like where the fan pictures are.

My favorite part of the missions is any part where I get to drive the warthog or the tank. I also like sniping.
 
Some things I liked about Halo
-No bosses
-Only 1 escort mission
-Only one race against the clock mission (very fun too)
-Vehicles
-Weapon Balance

Some things I hated about Halo
-No "official" online play
-No anticamp feature (darn you Dustin!)
-You can't cutomize item sets
ex. No sniper rifle, all other weapons still in, and
1 warthog, 3 tanks, 2 ghosts.
-Some multiplayer glitches really ruin the expirience if you are playing against XBC opponents.

About Dustin, he is a camping friend who brags about how he did all the work in winning a 7 on 2 against me and MM, when all he can do is camp near a health pack, teleport, powerup, and sniper/rocket/shotgun
 
Last night I finally got to the part where you have to race the Warthog out of the Pillar of Autumn. That part is hard, but also fun. :)
 
Yeah, I'm so late to the party, but I finally beat Halo for the first time yesterday. :woot Man, it was exciting! I can't wait to play it on harder difficulties.
