FInal Fantasy XII

I don't know what happened to the Dawn of Shard though. I should've had it.

Better yet can someone send their save via instant message in *.max format so I can have the Dawn of Shard.

I was excited about this, but now I just don't know. The FF series are going downhill, and just what is with these girly looking main characters?  >:(

FF has never had a sweet male character except for FFVIII. Cloud was very feminine in his own right. I do love this game so far. I played it till 6 a.m. last night. Geeze.

I haven't played FFXII for the past two months and am happy; because now I can spend time playing games that are worth my time.

I got to say that Sephiroth is a VERY emo character. What do you think he was doing all those years of being gone-slitting his wrist!! DUH!!

Wow. Harsh criticisms on thsi game, but it looks cool to me. I think when the great state of North Carolina send me my money that they owe me, I will pick this up, just in case it's not as good as I think it is...

I'll probably still like it because I have this weird inner ability to never dislike a Final Fantasy game (not even X-2), but I'll miss the the ATB system.

FFXII is my favorite game ever. I'm level 80-ish and I'm working on getting Zodiark to die. His Scathe is too deadly and fast to handle, anybody know an adequate stratgey?

I got this yesterday, and whilst I enjoy the liscense system, I've found the battle system to be extremely boring. Hopefully it'll pick up once I have more abilities.

Got a question, is it possible to kill the Dinosaur (Wild Saurian?) that's wandering around the Estersand early on in the game, or do you need a high level to kill it? I didn't risk it.

So I know that Ivalice is the same world as in Final Fantasy Tactics, but are the storylines from both Tactics and XII connected in any way?

I haven't beaten this game yet, but I have been playing it on and off for a good while now. It is easily the best game to come out in 2006, and in the top 10 for PS2 games, maybe even top ten for games to come out in the last generation period. I find the levelling up system to be kind of frustrating. For someone such as myself, it's too in depth, and the fact that you have to level up the ability to use weapons, and then having to find them, to me that just plain sucks. I wanted to make certain people use certain weapons, but because you never know what weapons you'll be able to find you constantly have to compromise what you want your characters to be for what they can be. In the end most of my characters ended up being incredibly similar, using the same armor and the same weapons. It's just less of a headache to make everyone similar instead of figuring out who can use what and when they can use it, and as far as I can tell, it works just as well.

Aside from that though, this game is incredible. It's one of few games that really attempts to create a living breathing universe for you to play around in, and it does it incredibly well.

I dunno, I just can't enjoy the fighting system. Maybe I need to get used to it, but I hate when there's too much going on the screen at once and having no control over what my characters do (the Gambit system is too clustered for me).

I loved this game when I first started to play it, as is evidenced in my posts, but then I came across the gambit system and ehh...bring back turn-based, I don't care if it's "out of date". It's just plain better.
