how i spent my day....

Here it is 105 to 108 with a lot of humidity. And that jumps the heat index up a notch or two. Our normal temperatures are around 84 - low 90s.

Wow, alright, those are pretty high. Hopefully you guys get some relief soon. I personally wish I was back in Southern California. It's not even hitting 80 degrees in certain parts of Los Angeles. I'm quite jealous.

Stay cool guys and drink lots of water. Hopefully you all have AC. Arizona wouldn't exist without it.

As for me, I have about 4 more months of this. :(

Yea I couldn't do these kinda temps for very long! But supposedly by Friday it will be back in the 80's again...

We've been going through a bit of a heat wave too, but for the most part I think people are really enjoying it. It's been awhile since we've had a scorching hot summer, and since last year we had the worst flooding ever (since the land's been settled), everything is extremely lush and green.

No complaints.

Today was the worst, about 110 heat index. We still grilled and did all that good stuff, but the heat just makes ya feel generally ill, so I couldn't enjoy the food much. Didn't actually go to fireworks, but I could see a bunch from my window. Hope you all had a cool 4th!

Woo today is supposed to be 99 before the heat index. x_x Plus having 30,000 people in this county alone without power, including me, makes it awesome.

What song is it? The last time I listened to a song someone said something like that about I got scarred for life. lol

It is around 90 here. It is supposed to be 93 tomorrow and feel like 104 cuz of humidity. Would be nice to have air conditioning... lol

It is the "I love my Nuki" sung by a green Gumi bear. lol

Nothing much up. I need to mow my lawn and give my son a hair cut today, and end of this week gotta drive the kids to Wisconsin so they can start school. I will miss them so much. wish I could keep em here with me. It has still been very hot out here, and my husband has been working long hours and on Saturdays too, so that sucks. :/

Just don't sit a bowl on top of his head and cut around it. That's horrible.

Lol. I didn't. I just made sides a bit shorter with top a bit longer, but if it were up to me he wouldn't have gotten a hair cut. I think shaggy er long hair looks good on guys. But he wants short hair. At least he does not want a buzz. :D

I have been cutting his hair and ex's hair for years, and I cut my current husband's hair too, but his is really easy, cuz its long and he just likes it super short underneath the long like base of neck and sides.

I like longer hair too, but being an officer of the law, I gotta keep mine short. 2 on the top, 1 on the sides. I actually gotta get a haircut tomorrow.

When the economy started squeezing my pockets a few years ago, I felt I could no longer pay someone to cut my hair. I was in a Biglots at the time I was thinking on this and saw they had a pair of clippers with a "Cutting Hair for Dummies" book for $10. I got it. Started cutting my own hair. Shorter than I usually used to wear it but it is cut and stays cut. I just put the 1 inch attachment on and cut it all over, then blow dry. I'm good to go. With the thinning on top, it works wonders for me. :lol

Not being able to to afford a proper haircut while I was growing up, I vowed to always pay for one. I even give a tip.
