A Limited Edition version of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will be exclusively available from GameStop on June 12th, publisher Konami announced today. The Limited Edition package (pictured), which will retail for $84.99 (as opposed to $59.99 for the standard release), will feature special packaging with exclusive art from Yoji Shinkawa, a bonus Blu-ray disc with a pair of making-of documentaries (including interviews with Hideo Kojima), as well as the CD soundtrack for the game.
Additionally, Konami revealed dates for the Metal Gear Online multiplayer beta today, reaffirming that those who reserve either version of Metal Gear Solid 4 at "participating retailers" will receive access to the beta test via the free Metal Gear Saga Vol. 2 pre-order bonus DVD. The beta will be available for download starting April 17th, with the servers opening up for play on April 21st. Both the beta download and online gameplay will cease availability on May 5th.

Not that I'm a fan of GameStop (at all) but if anyone is interested, I would recommend reserving, because I know this is one Limited Edition that will be hard to get even with reserves, if it's anything like past Limited Edition MGS games.
