Hello all,
I started this poll in order to prove my friend wrong. I'm not telling you who I'm advocating for, but I want all of you to answer truthfully. Ninjas vs. Pirates. I'm tired of me and my friend dabating and I want this find to be conclusive so that he'll stop saying otherwise. Thank you and think things through before you vote. Sorry for the repetiousness.
 
ninja vs pirate.. man kinda tuff.. the pirate can blast away with his/her ship and can make you walk the plank.. but a ninja would just smash a pirate.. a ninja would sneak on board and kill off every one .. one by one
 
I'd go with Pirates. Sure Ninjas are cool what with their throwing stars and sneaking ability and so forth, but, Pirates are tough mothers. Plus, Pirates seem european to me, and ninjas obviously asian, and we all know who'd win in a fight between a drunken irish sailor and an Asian wearing sneakers.
 
I don't like pirates that much. When was the last time watched a good pirate movie? ("Pirates of the Caribean" doesn't count as it is too obvious.) When was the last time you saw a good ninja movie? We have a bunch of movies called "American Ninja", but "American Pirate"? 8)
 
No, but I did play Tenchu. Splinter Cell, Metal Crap Solid, Tenchu. Tech-ninja or actual ninja. Your call. ;)
 
Splinter Cell? I hope you don't consider Sam Fisher a Ninja, because if you do, I think you need to brush up on what an actual Ninja is. As far as I recall "spy" and "ninja" are not synonymous. Although Sam Fisher is stealthy, I am yet to see his Ninjitsu displayed, and his skill with a short sword, and his Japanese ancestry.

As much as Pirates are cool, they just aren't as advanced as Ninjas. So I'm going with Ninjas

Ninjas and pirates are fairly close in historical timeframe. But even if they were not, pirates were more advanced. They used gunpowder, and giant ships, and all sorts of wooden prostetics. I've never seen any gun-toting, pegg-legged ninjas. Once they lost a limb, they were done for.
 
I dont know about more advanced. Sure they used guns and stuff but what happens if they lose their guns or run out of bullets. At least the ninja has some sort of martial arts skill. Also how do we know that ninjas werent advanced maybe they just chose to use more simplistic weaponry? Plus I dont think the pirates are good shots anyways. They will just shoot at the ninja until they run out of bullets.
