American Ninja. About the worst ninja-movie ever made, untili the sequel. Phew! That was a piece of... junk.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but I don't think that's it. I could be wrong, but "Dragon" doesn't ring any bells.
Well, Ninjas, duh. I mean, pirates wernt really skilled in anything accept stealing things and sailing a ship. They arn't as great as alot of people think.
Ninjas is such a generic title anyway, no one in reality that takes any form of martial arts, would refer to any group Ninjas. They don't use the term Ninja, they use the name of their dojo or sensei.
If Ninja means what I think your trying to say, then yes, I choose them over pirates.

Back in the good, old days, Japan was ruled by a Shogun. This would be an emperor or something. This guy had a staff of personal bodyguards exceptionally skilled in combat and prefered to use one or two sword. One big one called a katana, one smaller one I don't remember what was called. They are called Samurai.
Said Shogun also had a few personal assassins who killed anyone at his command - but only at his command. These are the real ninjas. Since we don't have Shoguns these days, we don't have ninjas. Simple as that. Sure you could dress up in a ninja outfit and all that, but you wouldn't be a true ninja.
