7 is my favourite, with 10 my second favourite. It's not because I'm jumping on the bandwagon or anything though...just the way it is.

I would give that Bioshock now, but up until recently, I agree...of course, being the best FPS on consoles is kind of like being at the head of a special ed class, lol.

i enjoyed what i played of VII, IX, and X

storyline-wise, ill probably have to go with retro, IX being the best

Same could be said of FFVII. The argument can be used both ways. I don't think FFVII is overrated but others do. Oh well, that's life.
 
Part of the problem is that people have different gaming genre preferences which will influence how well they like a game. Also fanboys exaggerating how great a game is will tend to cause unreasonable expectations by players who start a game that's been out for awhile.

Also FFVII was a good game but not any where close to being as good as Baldur's Gate.
 
Why does this argument have to be restricted to games? I think Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Gladiator, and Passion of the Christ were overrated.
