After reading through here a few times that FFVII is overrated. Which I think it isn't so much as the entire...assortment of crap spawned from the game itself is. A few days ago I decided to start playing FF7 again. 49 hours in. Still on disc one. I decided to get Aeris's Great Gospel this time around along with everyone elses limit breaks, which are easy in the forest by Junon and the Mt Nibel...
Anyways, I'm completely involved in the story again. I thought the game was overrated before I started to re-play it. There's something about the story that kind of keeps you going. I don't know. I feel like I have more say than most of these people saying it's overrated. When was the last time you played it without comparing it to all the new games that are out? Play it like it's the newest thing and you'll look at it differently.
I just re-started Arcana...for those who know true classics.
