that the first new footage in quite some time for Resident Evil 5 would see light this week via a Capcom 25th Anniversary DVD in the latest issue of Famitsu.

Looks like RE4.5 to me :-[ That's not to say it won't be good, though.

Agreed, it does. I think Capcom wanted to focus on that type of gameplay, it was a solid formula imho.

Yea I do like the new formula, it's just that the atmosphere and enemies also look like RE4. I guess I wish they would take the new formula and put it in the old RE universe. But, I guess the small tight confines of a mansion or the like may not work so well with the new system. Ah well I'm just rambling here, I'm sure the game will be fantastic :P

I can see what you mean..I'd love to play another RE if it takes place in a Mansion again...

And as lame as they were, I somewhat miss all the item fetching and puzzles of the older games :D

RE2 will always be my fav, the only camera complaint I had is the final boss in "Game A". I can never see where Burkins was going to strike.

Same, although the RE remake on Cube comes close.

I still need the Remake and RE0 to get myself back into the story. I can't believe I do not remember most of those games. (I remember Remake but I still want to play it.)

According to the latest Game Informer, Takeuchi said "Redfields". Plural. Meaning....? Claire?
