Just so I can get caught up in this thread...

RE4 is the best hands down. Sorry people but it's true, no matter what you say. :p RE2 comes close though.

The story although not the greatest, is entertaining and carries the gameplay well.

I was extremely happy when Steve died. Couldn't stand him.

Gameplay sure. But, story? I think not. And Code Veronica has got them both beat in that department.

i played code veronica

i didnt like it

i started out with a knife and nothing else so when i went to the graveyard i got attacked and was half dead everytime
and then i went a little further and got attack be like 2 zombies and ended up dieing

i did this six times before i returned thet game and started cussing more than i should be

Not completely. Umbrella still has a role but it's small.

Yeah, Umbrella will come back. But they had to change it up so that the Umbrella story won't become too stale.

they made like 20 games with umbrella

like literally including spin offs and those light gun and cell phone games

it was time for change
but if they did like you remake them in the resident evil format...that would be pretty cool

According to X-Play's Gaming Update (yea I know X-Play sucks but I was bored), Capcom is trying to make a new control scheme similar or close to Gears of War...
