Re: Here it is people the moment we've all been waiting for
That's fine. I don't play any of the Madden games. One day if I choose to, I am sure those buttons will come in handy.
But when it comes to this controller, I think it has amazing potential. I guess I am one of the few who sees this. And that's fine. But remember, if the controller is also based on movement, then that adds six "buttons" simply by tilting. Add that to the D pad, and the four "hard" buttons, and that's eleven total. Compare that to a Playstation's 9 buttons ( I am counting the D pad as one button) and two analog controllers. How many total?? Hm. Seems like it's eleven to me. Not counting Start and Select on either controller. Nor am I counting the Playstation's Analog button.
You can say it's the same box with a new bow. And that's fine. I personally like the design and I am optomistic on the whole Revolution platform.
Fatty said:And Dart are you serious? I mean 4 shoulder buttons make games like Madden, NBA Street, and FPS easier to play. Madden needs them so you can stiff arm and juke at the same time without letting go of turbo. NBA Street needs them so you have more options when doing tricks to get trick points. FPS need them because when you play games like Halo you can shoot, throw grenades, change grenade type, and turn on your flashlight without letting go of the right analog stick which you need to aim. Plus almost all games that I play do use all the button and I don't really think it's that complex nor do I think the buttons are useless.
