I'm guessing the price will be $249, but hopefully lower-- $199 would be nice. I'll pay whatever retail is; just won't buy one off an online scalper. :lol My concern with regards to quality is stuck/dead pixels. I have two DSLs and one DSi, and two of the three have a stuck pixel; in one case, it is really annoying. >:( (Well, I let it annoy me at least, lol) Because I plan on preordering through the mail and I know supplies will likely be very short at first, just have to hope the one I get doesn't have one (or more).

It won't be that much. I just can't see Nintendo making the 3DS price higher than the Wii's.

I could see it being easily over $200. The DSi released at, what, $180 right? And this has 3D tech and a ton better graphics? I'd hope it would only be $200, but I have my doubts.

well... all things considered, it may be a little more expensive, but I highly doubt it will be $300. I'm saying 200 at least, 250 at most.

I doubt $300 as well. I'd think $220 - $250 at the very highest.

If this is true, there's no way I'd buy it if it's the same price come stateside.

I hope they announce the U.S. release date... reading some things saying it will only be the Japanese or Japan and Europe release date. But if nothing else, will find out how much the cost will be. Wouldn't be surprised if the cost is that high-- probably expensive to make, and the popularity will probably be such that they'll fly off the shelves at anything under $300 or even more.

Just about what I expected. I figured anywhere from $250-299. And considering there's a vastly inferior handheld selling for $250 right now, the price doesn't seem far off ;)
