Why PS3 will flop

Those are some good points. How many times have you walked into a store the day a game launches and there are used copies on the shelf? Happens around here all the time. Personally I think that the best opinion you can get on a game is your own.
 
I've been looking at the tech demos of the PS3 a lot and am still very amzed. Can anyone hook me up with Tech Demos for the 360? I just want to see what the 360 true capability is. I like the Tekken 6 trailer for PS3 it lokks so real compared to any of the current systems from what I have seen.
 
I've been reading through this really dead topic, and I'm curious what people think now? I mean, we've seen a massive sales drop in the Wii lately, the PS3 is doing quite well, as I understand. Does the PS3 have a chance to win this gen console war, or do you think the Wii has already won? OR maybe the 360?
 
Well it won't win, that's for sure. To be honest I think it is doing good, but it will always be number 3 for this gen. Even to this day hardly anybody I know personally has a PS3 {or even cares to own one for that matter}, it's all Wii or 360. It's caught some success now, but as the saying goes, "too little, too late". Sony made too many major mistakes with the console early on for it to ever catch up to the massive success of either Wii or 360. Just my 2 cents on that.

PS3 won't win. But it's the fastest selling of the three right now. Just so many good games and the hardware is top notch.

Yeah, depends on the region. Over here, everyone I know pretty much sold their 360's for the PS3 since they say you can play any worth-while 360 game on the PC (which I tend to agree with). But it's obviously not like that everywhere.
 
Yeah, everyone I know either has or wants a PS3. I've been wanting one since launch, just never had the money, and since the Wii was less than half the price of the PS3 when I bought it, I went for it.
 
The Wii isn't even in the same league as the other two consoles. It may have sold the most, but it definitely doesn't have the game library to make it the winner. PS3 caught a lot of momentum once the price dropped and the exclusives got way better.

I think Sony might win depending on what happens in the next couple of years.

well in my opinion the PS3 and Wii have an equally amazing library =P, in fact after having a ps3 and a wii I see little reason to get a 360.
