Is POSSIBLY coming out. It's not totally confirmed yet. But, yes, if anything, that'd be the one I get.
 
well sony need to change their strategy or their crown as king of the consoles will be gone, but i have faith in them :)

Not really. They're getting the games, and that should be enough to have the PS3 sell well, after a price drop maybe...

yeah cool games are coming for the ps3 that would help,

the price drop acording to IGN wasn't enough to even beat the 360, so the only way is "something as good as ocarina" remember when ocarina of time was one of the few reasons to play a N64? :)

Actually, the PS3 has just edged out the 360 in worldwide sales for the first time. The winds may be a changin'.
 
oh my bad, i read they are in last place but they are getting closer, and the ps2 is the third best selling console of july so they have a lot of money.

also acording to IGN the price drop of the 360 didn't help at all , how do you think MS is gonna answer to that? xD what am i asking? they got halo3 i think that's enough

Wi-Fi, 'cause theirs is so great. >_> Chrome trim. Oh no... Backwards compatibility, oh darn, and I only have two PS2's already, why don't I just go ahead and spend an extra $200 for no apparent reason?

Yeah, why pay $200 extra dollars for great upcoming games, enhanced graphics, solid online play, and backwards playability....oh and game demos, and movies, and Blu-Ray, and rechargable-wireless controllers....I'll stop there. :lol
 
Haha. I hate the ps3. Such a silly system. Sadly the xbox 360 is a better system.

The whole ps3 vs 360 issue is like betamax vs vhs. ps3 being betamax

blu-ray wont survive and I think hd-dvd will win this war...shame shame.

Did I mention that developers hate the ps3? Pain in the ass to code for. Indeed.

*nods* This is why I stick to pc gaming and old generation consoles that are actually good.

Edit : And probably that movie companies turned to blu-ray 2:1 meaning double the output of blu-ray sales if everyone buys the same amount of movies from each movie company :D
 
i don't think any consoles or companies are gonna win the war, i mean every console has something that makes them winners,
the wii is soo popular that i think nintendo has enough money to make 3 more generations
the ps3 has very good (but not too many) exclusives that are AAA titles
the XBOX has the best on-line service to date, and halo 3.

although i have to agree that the ps3 code format is really complicated (acording to the developers)
many wii games are not good due to the fact that developers don't really know how to use the control correctly (with many exceptions like trauma center, and resident evil 4)
and you have to pay for the XBOX live service
 
Not many games will use the full potential of Blue-Ray either. Oblivion is barely 10 GB, and that's with all the mods I have for it. (isn't that what a Blue-Ray can hold?).

Unless they just plan on leaving everything on the disc un-compressed, there's going to be a lot of wasted space.
 
i mean heavenly sword is a short game and because is in blue-ray is suposed to be longer, i don't think graphics cover that much. but anyway, it doesn't really matter if they use 50GB or 1GB as long as the game is good

(by the way even though heavenly sword is short i still want it at least rent it once i have my ps3)
