Now that might be rather interesting... Hm, may be time for a little bit of internet hunting for relivant data to prove that rumor.
 
This is kind of off topic, but does anyone know for sure if Halo and Marathon are set in the same universe? I heard about it, and seen a lot of evidence, but has there been any actually confirmation.

And there are many arguments that Halo and Marathon are in the same universe, but only Bungie knows for sure.
 
I don't think so. You'd beleive they'd have them apart so there's as little diference as possible. But ho knows. Perhaps we should scour the internet for this. Hm, actualy, perhaps there's already stuff on these various things actually on the Bungie website?
 
Yeah, I was thinkin' that if they did leave, then Halo may not go any further ever again. but, Halo 3 and halo Wars is supposed to be the last anyway, so you'd think it wouldn't matter.
 
Halo =/= Microsoft, and Bungie still has to do Halo games, meaning there will be more in the future. Some of the team just wants to do something else for now.

HALO WAS ORIGINALLY SUPPOSED TO BE SET 200 YEARS AFTER (OR BEFORE) MARATHON. DUNNO IF IT IS.

BUNGIE IS LOOKING TO RE-ESTABLISH THE MARATHON SERIES WHICH WILL PROBABLY BE THEIR NEXT BIG GAME...

*sigh* Bungie still has to make Halo games to Microsoft's whim, the only reason Halo 4 isn't being worked is because it was rumored much of the team wanted to do something new, and most were in the top few people at Bungie, so Microsoft had to grant them the independence, because it's better to have them still make Halo games for you, and be free to do other things for other companies, than be making Halo games for other companies.

Some guy I work with is telling me that Bungie is already hard at work on Halo 4. He says he's got sources. I think he's nuts. Anyone agree??
